Last week I decided to repair A small soft spot in my floor by the leaning post... Started cutting it out and kept cutting until I found good wood... ended up removing all the Starboard side and most of the Port side. Then decided while I am at it may as well redo everything.
Found one surprise that would have caused a major fire or explosion... my filler hose and vent hose were both rotten and leaking!!! So far I have pulled the T-Top, center console, fuel tank, all wiring, pump (was only 150gph pump) and etc. Moving the batteries and oil tank (yes I am still running a two cycle) to under the console. I decided to drill a few test holes in the stringers to check for water, port side was wet and starboard side felt damp, have been letting it dry out. The Previous owner/s had drills hole everywhere to mount stuff and none were sealed. I have been taking picture, may post them or a link to them.
