I think alot of 2 strokes in the category were around 400 lbs 10 years ago. My 84 merc 200s were about 350lbs.

I've always had Mercs, but I think a etec 115 would be great, plenty of top end figure areound 40 mph, and great 5mpg cruise. Big thing is how little fuel they use in no wake zones. I get about 1.5 mpg off plane. With direct inject 2 stroke, including Optis, Tohatsus and Yammies, the low speed gas burn is a thing of the past. That's great when your just putting around checking out the scenery. And The e-tec at least, is quiet like a 4 stroke...
