Yup, just about the middle seeing as Ontario and Erie are about sixty miles wide.Biggest problem we face are the storms that always seem to pop up without warning,and turn the one foot chop into six footers in a very few minutes.
I will say that as much as I love the ride of the Seacraft,making that 25 mile ride back to port in six foot breaking waves that seem to be ten feet apart really sucks.

The good thing however is that if we were to(god forbid) lose power and be adrift we'd either end up in the Us or Canada,not Portugal.
