look at caymanboy and stricks builds just off hand ... both have raised floors and brackets.. that will be enough foder to keep your reading and drooling for awhile !!!! then you can check out Marks it has raised floor and motor on transome.. Marks has a good photo journal on the galleries page of the website..

nice console, perfect for a 20'

To your stringer question: there is no reason they could not be perfectly fine. Just clean up around the bases so you can see if they are delaminated anywhere, and check for any cracking. Drill test holes at the bottom to see if foam is wet, if not, fill holes with putty and put a little piece of glass over it.
