I was in EXACTLY your situation with a nice 74 just a year ago. Chose to simply repower and tidy things up a bit with a new windshield, forward cushions and bow dodger. I am very happy with that choice.

Thanks Guys! I'm gonna raise the transom and have the boat overhauled. I know I will be kicking myself if I don't. And BA17 you made my week lol. I've already been down the road of "trying" to restore a boat. The wife got so furious with me she sold it on craigslist when I was out of town for $500!
