Default I missed my Seacraft today...

Went tuna fishing today on a buddies boat (21 Parker) only cause my Seacraft is winterized. I could not believe the pounding. It was snotty out there early but holy shit, even at 5 knots I felt myself getting shorter. On the way in it was nice, maybe one foot chop right into it at 23 knots and my god, you would have thought we were in 3-4s

Surprised to only see one seacraft out there. Bet he rode like a dream...

I did how ever hook into a real nice bluefin on the. Retinal jig only to have the hook straightened 15 minutes into the fight. Felt like I was pulling on a train, could only budge him a few times. Must have been a big boy... I'll never know

Haha, I know the feeling buddy, my nephew just bought a 21 Parker as well and asked me to help him run it home from the dealership, about a one hour run. Maybe two ft chop. I was ready to go to the neck surgeon afterwards. I tried to talk him into a nice restored seacraft but oh no, lol. Anyway as long as he is happy with his boat, im happy. I just dont want to ride, lol. Too bad you pulled the hook, hope those guys show up down here this year again!

Sry u lost him i was out of Ptown and tripled up one on a spinning rod I cut off and one large one on a 130 pulled hook and landed a 74" that I had no tape but marked boat and released. Around here those lil Parker's need to be the ones winterized not the Seacraft.
