Need to add a transom drain plug

I installed a garboard drain plug assembly thru the bottom of the keel versus out the transom. Therefore, the bilge can be drained while on a lift or a trailer from within the boat without climbing underneath. This also helps maintain the integrity of the transom from water intrusion

I've seen this on Chuck's boat. If you have to drill a hole, this is the way to go. Especially if you forget to put the drain plug in when you launch, you don't have to put it back on the trailer and look stupid even though we all really enjoy that opportunity...

capt chuck were did you get your t handle? then was it just brazed on? I like that set up. my boat is lift kept also and I can not reach the drain plug to drain, this would solve that problem!
