Jeff, So happy to hear the good news about your daughter! Merry Christmas!
I have an old 2 stage HVLP unit and have worked it pretty hard over the years. Good finish and much less over-spray than conventional w/ no condensation splatter. Mine has paid for itself any number of times. But go with at least a 3 stage turbine, and preferably a nice 4 stage unit. Fuji once made an affordable quality product in the $300-400 range. I imagine any number of units in that range or above will do the job, but for $550 to 800 you'll find lifetime value.
