Hey I'm with ya, I'm old and fear Hillary!!!

That 300 G1 should be very, very nice on the 23. I would prefer you not tell me all the good performance numbers because I can't afford one!!! Good luck and I'm jealous!!!

It those speeds are in nautical mph ..... That's rolling along pretty good! Best I've ever seen on my sled is 42 knots with my rattly ol 4 stroker.

Quit "Jones'in" for a new motah, Kenny. Those mid 2000 Zuke 250's are the John Deeres of 4-S. People I know have 4800 hrs. on 'em and they ran them since new at WFO. They spool up just like your's and when they chop the throttle - the sewing machine sound. You'er good till at least '19 or '20.

I know, I know.... Mama said I ain't getting a new one til this one blows up. The only thing that's killing me is that Robert can get me into a new 300 AP for under $14k! Like I need 50 more ponies and fly by wire controls......But I want it!

Not intending to derail the thread but I gotta ask moose - how hard do you have to run it to blow it up and get a new one? And how fun would that be?

I cut her no slack and use all her ponies when conditions allow. Not sure what it will take to cook her but someday it will happen. In all reality it's all the power I could ever use but the new 300 AP is considerably more efficient and only 6 lbs heavier. I also have to consider how far offshore I take an 11 year old single engine out. Last weekend I made a 180 nautical round trip overnight. She could probably do 100 more trips just like it without a miss but it weighs on my mind.

It's an interesting game we play... I start looking at a new boat project and Mel overrides the process by upgrading my current sled. It's a smart move on her part but either way I win!
