Yawn.... My guess is when Potter took the reigns over from Carl he changed the original design to "his" version and target products. Maybe there were creative differences or maybe Bill just felt his redesign was more marketable. In any case Bill decided not to for whatever the reason.

In the boat business it's not always about what works the best but what sells. New SeaCrafts don't even exist anymore. It does't mean they weren't great boats, just that nobody else wanted to run with the ball.
