The Potter 20 was a great ride and very fun to run . The 21 is a only a foot longer and wider. but a world of difference in the ride, yes the 20 rode great ,and had a cool feel to the helm and felt like you were flying being closer to the water...but the 21 with its higher freeboard ,deeper V and heaver, rides like a bigger boat,I was out yesterday in some bumpy choppy conditions off the beach, on the way out I was just at planning speed and passing much larger boats ,The 21 has lots of nice features and storage, 25in transom, don't get me wrong the 20 1970 Potter that I had for 28 years was a fun boat and great looking....but this boat will be better for my old bones in the slop ,and much better for working offshore
