You will be "Crackerfied" before you know it..
![]() All of the boat ramps, parks and piers on the east side of the county are some of the finest in the state ! They are still free for now.. New Smyrna has been tossing around the idea of charging for the parking. ![]() River Breeze Park was one of the parks that was funded by the Port Authority while I was serving as chairman. Glad you found a slip / dry stack for the Topaz.. I keep the No Bones at Inlet Harbor when the "Rays" show up in the spring for fast access !

Tommy Paris and No Bones are on to something, Senior Pelicano. Things seem to slow down a little when you get away from the Metropolis's. There are little pockets of Southern Hospitality in Miami, Orlando and Tampa but for the most part they are trying to operate in a "New York Minute". In places like Holly Hill, Cedar Key, Sebastian, Punta Gorda, Flagler Beach, Goodland, Arcida, Branford and Crawfordville people seem to be willing to "take time to be nice". Don't judge too quickly and take time to smell the night blooming jasmine and listen for the whippoorwill, while you sip on a sweet tea.
It's all good Jimbo, but be careful, that Southern Hospitality is contagious - but I think a big dollop of it is good for the soul. |

Most of the uptight people in my area are part time foreign residence or just yankees that haven't acclimated yet. It takes a little time for them to adjust...
