You may be but there are a few things I think people are struggling with. One is the radical new design. I saw one up close and have a hard time with the look. I get the form and function but radical changes in appearance can go one of 2 ways in the public eye and I think they would have been better off going with the engine redesign first and then move to appearance change later.

Not sure of the cost difference either but I don't think anyone gets close to Suzuki's price point for repower. Don't they weigh pretty much the same as well?

Bottom line is that the G2 will need to get some service time on the water before any real confidence will be established. The other big three are getting so much transom time on the water it will be a tough road for Rude unless some real magic occurs in price point or performance along the way.
