The fuel tank hatch is five feet long and the console overlaps by about a foot. I think there is a thread on this from last year, but figure transom plus splash well plus border (4"?) plus 5 feet minus the overlap. If you move it too far forward then the foredeck gets very cramped, as the casting deck intrudes.

I found this on here a while ago. I cannot comment on it's accuracy but it seems reasonable. I've been using it to lay out my deck.
