I raised my transom to 30" and installed a 30" etec - at the right height the motor ended up being about 2" above the top of the raised transom. That said your 25" will not work on a 30" transom as the motor will be too high. You could use a manual jack plate and that will allow you to use your 25" motor on your raised transom.
