I have to say that this buyer was a great guy to deal with,I even think he's in the same business as our member Strick.(Equine vet).Maybe it's a California thing and people are just nicer there than the curmudgeons in New England (I'm one of the curmudgeons).
I love good faith transactions. It's how I bought my engine. It's pretty much how I bought the boat and trailer, although these were through an established marine place on Cape Cod. It is how I purchased the full set of Canvas w/frame from Handful in NC. All we're purchased sight unseen. Makes everyone's lives so much easier. Yes, it is not a 'best practice' but I think I've become good at figuring someone out after a few phone calls.
Nice to know it is going to a good home.

I don't know quite where to begin, but let me first say that is one of the craziest and best things I've ever done. Thank you so much for all your efforts in getting this boat all the way across the USA to me. I promise that I'll keep you updated on the resto progress and I can't wait to get started. Thank you again, John, for making my SeaCraft dream come true!

Default Saying Goodbye

Hey Bigeasy-
Your Seafari looks like the sister to my '76 yellow Seafari (there is a short bio on MoeslySeaCraft proud owners). We are the original owners and have enjoyed her in the waters of Palm Beach and the keys where we trolled offshore, snorkeled and skied. In 2000 we brought her to SC where she is used solely as a watersports tow boat. My wife was sad when the old 17' Larson Volero was sold, I wasn't because the Seafari was already in the driveway. We enjoy ours so much, I can understand your sadness. Best wishes!
