Default Salmon & Trout fishing 3 weeks in Aug.

Had a pretty good three week stretch of weather on lake Ontario.Limited out just about every day.Fish were good size as well, lots of king salmon in the high twenties and lots of Rainbows/Seel head from 8 to 14 lbs.
We never keep brown trout except for one that got us into a few bucks in a tournament, normally we'd let them all go.
We rarely take pictures anymore as all these fish look the same every picture looks the same, but here's one of a 15, a 22,and 25 pound salmon. Also a brown trout of 14 lb.8 oz

Thanks Gilli

Actually Browns are very common and most are fat. This brown only finished in 18th place in the tournament. The lake record for Brown trout was over 33LBS.
We usually never target brown trout but when we know we aren't going to qualify in a tourney with king salmon we'll go after browns. One day last season we boated 20 browns from 7 to 16 lbs.
AS for king salmon our biggest this trip was 27 lbs,but we didnt get on the board as the 20th place king was over 31 LBS.
We usually manage to win a few dollars, but that $25,000.00 for the biggest salmon has eluded us
A few years back we couldnt even qualify with a 39lb salmon as the first 20 salmon were all over 40lbs.......Maybe next season.
