Some report the ride performance with inboard is the very best, given the weight and distribution - understandable.

I assume the I/O would be 2nd, followed by outboards.
With outboard efficiency what it is now, in most cases, it seems like the lowest maintenance approach, and perhaps lowest total annual cost too.
Lube, sparks, filters, lower fluid, flush and done for the year, annually.

Do the inboard/ IO owners agree ?
