Default SeaCraft - Tough to Beat

Recently, I have been thinking of selling my 23' Tsunami. I've had her for over 12 years and well… just would like to try something else. I've look into a lot of other boats, more talking to other people than actually been on them; older restored 25 bertrams, 23'-26' contender and regulators, older 23 mako's, 23'-25' boston whaler outrages, even 26 fortiers. All have their pro's and con's...

But, each time I do the math and ride home in the 2-3' short chop that is my Bay, like late last night - with no pounding, no water over the bow - just a great ride - for the $, family, fishing and most other factors - I realize that I already own a perfect boat for me.

Right now - she's priceless…

Like a girlfriend or wife - other's look really nice, but it's easier to just deal with the crazy you already now...

Ah come on man.......you know you're looking at those sexy 30' + center consoles with twin power that cruise at 45 and top out at 60. Think of how fast you get to the fishing grounds, flying over the chop leaving all those other boats behind....

You just want to sell the Tsunami to me.....quick and cheap.

ps - I agree, you have a great multi purpose boat.

This boat started out as my single-guy, fishing, get-to-the-beach vessel - then the wife came - followed by kids. She has slowly transformed into a family boat fully equipped with kids fishing poles, boogie boards, beach chairs, roll-up table, a weber BBQ ! But, at around this time of the year, I strip her down - and oila!, she's back to my lean and mean fishing machine ! The boat must lighten up 200 lbs !

FYI - The best accessory I put on, to keep the wife happy, was (2) heavy duty Garelick deck chairs… They are stable, comfy and fold up pretty tightly. Again - gone now that the weather is getting colder. Time for the 30 gallon live well to come out !

After all that, if I did find a boat that rode as well, drifted as well, was built as well, a little more wiggle room - with an O/B, I might consider it. Call it a mid-age crisis, but a younger girl sounds appealing - WAIT ? What am I talking about
