Pains me to do it, but it's time to sell my 1974 23' Classic Seacraft Tsunami.25 General Marine DE replacement is in my yard, so she's got to go. Location: East Islip, NY Original gel coat, still shines up beautiful. I have owned this boat for 20 years. Older restore done in 2000, including; New Engine beds and full transom replacement by Raybo Marine Bottom stripped, barrier coated, ablative paint applied New Alpha 1 Gen II drive New 5.7 LX EFI 260 hp Cockpit coaming pads window glass replaced Lenco trim tabs Manifolds, risers, oilpan replaced in 2015 Lowrance hds 5 plotter/ff with thru-hull tilt element transducer installed 2015 Sw washdown/ livewell pump. Dual axle roller trailer included; fair condition, no title. Basically gets me in and out of the water spring and fall Approx. 600 hrs, little or no use since 2006. Great riding and handling boat, the added weight of the I/O package makes it even more so. Cruising speed 26 28mph@ 8gph; very fuel efficient. Boat is in excellent condition, decks are solid. A little TLC needed, since I've used her only a handful of times in the last few years. Price: $9,500.00. No insulting offers please, this boat is pretty close to turn key, no transom or deck work needed and the older Potter hulls are getting harder to find! Raised my 2 boys on this boat, hoping to see her go to a good home, thanks! Contact: Bob, 516.317.4816; text or call |

Pretty sure 65 gallons. Yes, boat still looks great after 40+ years. i really love this boat, but with my bad knees and all, it was time to slow down and go a bit bigger. Her replacement is a 25' General Marine, full keel DE boat with a single 200 diesel. 15-16 kt cruise, so i'm giving up a bit of speed, but the ride will be better.

Thanks- yeah, now that I read it, does sound a bit schizophrenic.
The 25 General Marine and my son's 17 Cape Horn will be heading to Montauk for the summer, figured a small cc for the GSB in Islip wouldn't be a bad thing. One thing I've got going for me, she still has more horses than I've got boats! |
