Twin and you're probably right. Memory and 6 years ago. I followed Dons installation recommendations.

I'm trying to work out the same thing on my bracket. How far up will your bracket be mounted relative to hull bottom? Then, how tall is the bracket, from bracket bottom to the the top of the clamping board/top? I have mine tall, trying to determine how much to cut it down, it's 30" now
