Default Trailer issues:

I have a 2001 21 seacraft and the guy I bought it from had a trailer to use that came with it not specifically made for that boat. I don't trailer the boat often but when I do the boat doesn't sit flat on the trailer. Seems like it has rocker from bow to stern on the hull where the bunks touch. The bunks are just straight flat. Did anyone have to get their trailer bunks scribed or anything to get the boat to not rock on the trailer? Looking at some local guys doing some work on it and not sure if anyone else has had this issue. Not sure if I should just scrap the trailer or get rebuilt.

The previous owner of my boat had a custom built Myco trailer fitted to the hull. It is an odd set up when you look at it but the boat sits and rides perfectly on it. I will snap some pictures of it for you. It may be a few days as its in the shop getting a new steering system.

Are they flat 2 x 6's? If so, get the stern sitting where you want, take a block of wood and a jack to the front of the bunks, loosen the bracket bolts then jack it up until it snugs up. The boards should stay bowed after all is tightened. Might be possible to lower the stern brackets if room allows.
