Spent a day getting the second layer on the transom and some tabbing done. Cut a section of 1708 large enough to rap a few inches on each side and down the bottom for one nice continuous run threw the tabbed section. Once that was down I added several more tabs to the sides and bottom building on top of each other. Its starting to get a little cold over night here and since I am using a slower cure epoxy that was purchase back when it was hot out I tried to keep the temp up. I threw a insulated blanket over the back of the boat and placed a heater at the base threw the night to keep the temp above 70 degrees for the cure.

Looking good! I’m looking forward to seeing how you reshape the cap. I started a similar project this fall but I’ve been shutdown by the cold. Will be watching your thread. Thanks for documenting the build.

Hope to get back on it soon, I had emergency surgery week before last due to appendicitis. Im back at work even though the work release was not till the 18th. I was going nuts stuck at the house. Not supposed to lift over 10lbs until after 6 weeks but probably will be back in action soon.
