Default Found Seacraft Forum

Curious why the CSC site does not have a category dedicated to found Seacraft's? I am assuming it has to do with the 25 dollar fee required for members to list their own boat. I don't have a problem with how the site functions, and have paid the fee more than once. As a member of the Downeast forum I just find the found boats section really enjoyable to check. Maybe the difference is the apparel sales on the Downeast forum keeps the site going....no idea and again just curious!

I think the main thought is to protect the interests those who pay the $25 to have the For Sale venue uncluttered by a hundred CL, Kijii, BoatTrader ads.

I spent countless hours looking for a 21, so I get your point, but the rule makes sense.

Perhaps a SeaCraft Wanted forum, also at $25 per post would be equitable and save searchers some time. I'll leave that to Trayder and The site Administrators discretion. Gotta admit I wasted a lot of time on CL trying to find the proverbial needle in the haystack. It's not always the kill, but the thrill of the chase...

All good points. I get the fee and the requirements to operate the site, as well as not disservicing paying members. For me personally the found boats section is the first one I click on in the Downeast forum...not always interested in buying but I love seeing what's out there. Have to believe it increases foot traffic as well.
