With a 9'6" beam it would have to have some serious deadrise for a boat that short to ride well unless it was very heavy.

I too am very interested if someone has experience on both rides. I've been on, but not run, both the outboard and twin inboard versions of the NorthCoast 24'. To Kmoose's reply, it does have a pretty serious deadrise, entry and is heavy (especially the twin inboard version). If my memory is correct, it is a Charlie Jannace design; looks like a shrunken BlackFin 29'.

It is a Jannace design spin off on the Blackfin he designed. A buddy has the 31' twin diesel inboards. Full kitchenette , bath/shower and queen sized bunk/table. Really cool boat. Very hard to find

24 degrees of deadrise and heavy. Won't win any races but the ride should be extremely good.

I believe rated for up to 400 hp so with twin 200's should run mid 40's.....or more with the Etec G2's and such .......

Northcoast - Be careful of balsa cored hulls built during that era in the Northeast. Not saying NC is cored, I dunno but I'm aware of some real horror stories and have personal experience. Balsa is excellent material, but not under the waterline.

It isn't just added weight w/water intrusion. Once the core begins rotting the whole structure will eventually fail as the chines begin to accordion. Boats go under right quick and there's no warning unless you know what to look for.
