Mark Hauptner of Ocean Master fame raced with Carl from Haulover to KW w trip merc 110s in `67.
He said the cut was a washing machine mess and many dropped out or were damaged badly.
They lost an engine around Summerland and took 1st OB class at an average of 62 mph.

Mark said 2 props fell off when they put her on the trailer.
He said the bronze ears were trashed from the beating they took coming out the
cut in Haulover. One was missing an entire ear. Probably the one that went south.

I imagine my twin 150 OP`s on the Armstrong bracket will beat those numbers.
Have to section 4 inches per side to tuck her inside the racer`s skinny ass.
Bill and his elves at general sheet metal will be doing the welding.

Great shop around the corner. His dad did the abyc for the CG when aluminum tanks
came along in the early 60`s.

I have slowly been collecting pieces/parts for #31.
I shop well, but the bitch Irma took 4 g`s outta my pocket and I am not done yet...
At least the giant ficus tree didn't put big holes in neighbor granny`s roof.
