Default Laminateing resin.. aka no wax polyester

Hey I have a small delima.. I mixed some fairing with my laminating resin instead of the standard boat yard stuff.. as you know it's tacky as all get out... I have left it in the sun as much as I could and also waited a good month before I sand... Well it's still tCky....What can I do to it to seal it so it isn't tacky anymore? Can I just roll some regular boat yard resin over i? Will it convert I to hardened upso I can sand it ...I don't have enough sand paper on this Earth to sand the tacky stuff.. oh and yes I did use the correct hardner amounts..thanks guys

Just coated it with layer of waxed resin or gel coat. You will be able to sand it no problem once that hardens.
