Default Scorpion boats and information about them

Does anyone in this esteemed group have any knowledge regarding Scorpion boats? I saw one the other day out of the water and it appears to have a very similar VDR hull design to the SeaCraft.
Any informatipn would be appreciated.

There's a Scorpion 26 down my street about 5 blocks away here in Shalimar. It looks like a pop-off of the 2000-2008 23' SeaCraft but stretched by a bit. It's rigged with a pair of V6 Mercury Saltwater outboards of the 1999-2003 era, but I don't know the HP. I've never seen it move from it's spot by the business where it's parked. It is for sale.

I just sold my 2006 Scorpion. I was the original owner. It was a great boat and ran great with a single 300 Yamaha. Scorpion was the Model and the Company was Lightning Powerboats. They were made in Miami and the company went out of business in 2008/2009. The boat is 26 ft to the transom. It has a VDR that is basically identical to a 23 Sea Craft. It ran smooth and dry in most sea conditions. I would definitely recommend taking a closer look as it is a lot of boat for the money.
