1989 20 sf with suzuki 140 performance

I have the 140 on my 20' SeaFari and I love it. I really think it's the perfect motor for this hull.
The performance numbers are very much the same as your current 150, and I don't get water through the scuppers at anchor (although admittedly I do run light.)
Weight on the transom seems to be a major issue for ride quality, and I sure wouldn't want to go any heavier. Also, this motor really sips fuel, although I couldn't give you exact numbers on consumption. Too busy enjoying the boat to worry about math!

I went and priced oit a new 140 Suzuki today

Engine installation and rigging and tax came to 12,500

I did not try to negotiare the price as I'm just shopping right now

6 years of warranty and financing with 0 down came to 206 a month
