Default Livewell Fishbox Ideas for Seafari 20

As I continue planning my Seafari 20 restore I am trying to maximize utility. Two of the things I am thinking about now are what to do for a livewell and a fishbox.

I don't want a livewell in the transom due to the weight. I think in-floor will be too small. So, my idea is a custom oval livewell in the 30-40 gallon range where the port passenger seat will be. I am thinking something in the 3 feet long by 2 feet wide and tall enough, maybe 18 inches tall. Lengthwise fore to aft. A seat on top with a big hatch behind the seat for access. Plumbing will run under deck.

Then the fishbox will be the same design, but starboard under the captain seat.

My minimal searching hasn't found anything similar that exists so that is why I am thinking it will need to be custom made. Nothing a form and some glass and resin can't take care of, right?

Thoughts?

Nick does a great job maximizing the seafari's potential.

Haha, that would work, but looking for something a little more built in. Right idea though. Two cooler sized lockers with seats on top. At least I know they will fit.

If I am not mistaken, McGillicuddy has a setup you might like. Search for his posts/photos.
