Interesting read. Now that’s pretty damn funny.

So who would be best suited to possess/retain/store and possibly build one for a profit? I can’t. Buehler?

Is the mold in SC or FL?

Default Splashwell Mold

Sorry Michael, I can't resist this-
I applaud you for saving the Hermco splashwell mold from destruction. But your effort to figure out what to do with it reminds me of an old story or cartoon. This little dog had been unsuccessfully chasing a VW done the road every morning. One day the dog caught up to the VW and latched onto the rear bumper with his jaws. The next caption was something like "What the hell do I do with it now?!"
Good luck on finding someone to put the mold to good use. I bought my splashwell for the obvious reason of keeping the sea out of the boat, more security for stern seat guests, and it kept my little ones out of the grease that dripped off the tilt tube!

I can easily bring it to Fla by April. I’m headed to NJ for Christmas

Friz has not shown any interest as of yet. If someone has the supplies to pop one, UncleBoo has a buddy who would have paid $200 awhile back for any shade of white gel coat.

I’m suddenly making a trip Tuesday to Spotsylvania, Va.. Staying until Sunday am, then headed to Rocky Mount, NC. For a week of deer hunting. Open to make a run to Fla., 11-12 until Thanksgiving, when I have to be back in SC. Then around 12-15, headed to NJ for holidays. No plans to visit the Cape. And freaking Gag Grouper closes 12-31.

Capt. Terry, I thought someone on the board would be happy to have this. Haha
I can store it until April.

Bring it with you and get up with me when you get to Rocky Mount. I'll come pick it up. We have 4 boat builders here and I have lots of friends that work at them. My cousins son is the CEO at Albemarle Boats. I give my word the mold will stay in the SeaCraft fold. I'll make one and determine the cost. We'll go from there.
Boo!
