EDIT: Grumman P-17 "Sportabout" Deluxe "Volvo" Model (see bottom of post)
This seems to be similar; Does that P17 mean it's a 17' model?: https://boats-from-usa.com/grumman/g...unabout-189761 https://boats-from-usa.com/grumman/g...portster-76215 Per wiki, it's 1952 or newer based off when they were in Marathon, NY... before becoming http://www.marathonboat.com/index.asp. I own two Grumman aluminum canoes. My best friend and his dad worked for Grumman. Was a huge employer on Long Island at one time, but mostly aerospace here. Some historic info here: http://www.fiberglassics.com/forum/a...d-me-home.html https://forums.paddling.com/discussi...-serial-number http://www.fiberglassics.com/forum/a...-outboard.html Not sure any of these are correct, since your cap looks thicker, and these below are clearly aluminum... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ...BINGO! (Grumman P-17 Sportabout 17)! https://www.ebay.ca/itm/1965-Grumman...w0c:rk:30:pf:0 ![]() ![]() |
