So does it come in standard 30 inch shaft. I am getting close to being done and I did my transom about 4 inches . I had a new Armstrong built I wonder if it will handle it

The 400 is still a wound up 2.6L verado that weighs 681LBS + fluids for a 25" version.

The naturally aspirated 4.6L v8 250/300 is much more appealing to me. The price is $10,000 less, 140lbs lighter (556lbs 25") than the 400, and the v8 250/300 runs on 87 vs 91.
