So the dimensions for my cuddy window seals outside lip measure .4"-.43" wide, vs. the TP139's .672". One question I initially had was whether the shorter leg of the seal was the one "outboard", but based off the assembly pics strick posted, the larger seal leg does in fact goes outside while the shorter leg gets pressed into the aluminum track. Mine may have shrunk substantially over the 42 years. I am certain if I take the existing seals out, they will not go back in due to being hard and crunchy. Obviously the inner leg and inside profile are the critical ones, and the longer leg dimension may "shrink" as it curves/curls after assembly.

It looks like you need ~100" per side in length, so 17' total to do the cuddy windows on my 20' Seafari.

What's the consensus about whether to bed/seat the glass to the frame; with silicone, or foam glazing tape? Looks like strick used silicone, and kmoose used tape. I've read cases for both. As far as tape widths, I'd say the windshield would use 1/2"-wide, and the cuddy either 1/2" or 3/8". In my situation, I suppose if I plan to take the seal/plexi out after installing, to do some fiberglass and gelcoat work, tape may be the way to go... or just unscrew the entire frame.

Since my seals have also shrunk longitudinally...and I have leak(s) on one side anyway... I may order samples and press them into these voids to check their assembly. or cut a section of the old seal off, if possible?

If prices are in the ~$2+ per foot range, I'm just gonna tackle the cabin windows for now! The windshield looks to take miles of linear feet!!
