It may be that you have a Master Angler, not sure. Is the top of the gunwale even with the rub rail? Or does the cap raise 3-4” above the rub rail? I’m not good at interpreting HIN (Hull Identification Number) but the wizards should chime in shortly.

The top of gunwale is even with the rub rail. I think the "A" at the end is for the month. In this case, it would have been delivered in January.

![]() "SEC" Is seacraft (potter year boats) the "F" Is for the model Super Fish, Master Angler hulls would start with "SECM".

Thank you for the information. If anyone has something that explains it, please chime in. I thought it would be similiar to a car's vin # where each letter or number reveals the car's blueprint.

Unfortunately, there are so many vehicles/vins that even the manufacturers can't keep up. I order my GM parts from Rick Hendrick Chevrolet in Virginia and even my parts guy is asking what the vehicle is AFTER he has entered the vin on some occasions.
