Did you just put the 225 on? I cut open my stringers on my '79 23cc and yes the foam was wet but I doubt it added 100lbs to the boat. I think your new compost decks and transom would easily of set any wet foam.IMO. I had 20' with a old Johson 175 and it squatted at the dock but sold it before any restoration . Good luck with it.

The 225 has been on there since 2002
