I might have misspoke when I called it a hardtop. What I was referring to in my daydream was the hardtop/fly bridge combo as seen in the Forum library section. Maybe now they’re referred to as cabins.

As a SeaCraft dealer in the early 80's, I only once saw a 23' hardtop, and never a 23' flybridge. The hardtop was one that came in for service, and it was powered by twin Mercruiser 140's. The engine box/cover had a step molded into the center front to allow easily stepping up onto the box. There was very little room to stand on either side of the box at the transom, perhaps 12 inches or so on each side. It was a very odd setup.
