Default Bench seat question

I was curious whether the bench seat behind the console of my 78' cc is original from Seacraft or it was later added. It is fiberglass construction and very well built and is raised up on aluminum piping. Also sits on aluminum track system. I thought original seating on these boats were 2 helm chairs. Has anyone seen this before?

It appears to be original but with modifications. The reverseable backrest and its side rail was teak
The aluminium slide was a little different. Attached picture of the seat i still have from my '73 20' very hravy and well built. You can also see a picture from the the brochure available on this site.
