Did a total restoration to a 1974 20 Master Angler two years ago. Used a Hermco bracket and a 150 G2, should be able to answer a lot of your questions.

Looks like a "Super Fish" model as the "Master Anglers" have the raised cap and did not come out until 1975 I believe. Very beautiful boat, love the floor and the console/seating as well also. Nice!

Some member (sorry can’t remember who, maybe Bigshrimpin) posted a chart showing production quantities of models through the years. It shows 23 MA’s in -975 and none before that. In the ‘68-‘70 years it shows for tthe SF, 441 OB and 98 I0’s.

Flyingfrizzle you may be correct on the year of the Master Angler, I need to check my title but the boat was definitely a Master Angler. I cut the cap down, a job I won't soon forget. Total PIA but I like the look much better. I plan on putting a full build thread together in the near future to help others with their restorations as I learned a lot from this site.
Hey mwfutch I sent you a private message with my number if you have any questions. |
