Default Savage hull identification number

Is there anyway to tell from the HIN if it’s a real savage or not ? Thank you

Lay it on us and GFS will use his Ovaltine decoder ringer and report back!

There needs to be a letter in there ?
Are you getting this number from the hull or the title ?
It is a 1978 that much we can figure.
Production List..

Link to one that sat in my yard for 8 years !

Inboard or OB ?
One sure way to tell, there is no glove box like on a Sceptre.
Also a high pulpit bow rail if it is still there.
Pics would be real helpful...
