Thanks Chuck.....I haven't picked up the grab rail yet. I was wondering what size bolts? If you don't mind. Reason is picking up the rail on my way to the keys and was going to install down there.

CMI Marine Products, Hingham, Mass. Quality .316 stainless railing bases and stansions I have used in the past for Boston Whaler reproductions. I believe Fred has sold the business or retired. Shame. He was fun to talk to. I’ll bet they may have exact duplicates for the recessed bow rail.

Sorry , don't remember. 16yrs ago I installed them. I would 1/4" x 1½" would work temporarily until you get the exact
Flat head vs Oval might be a better choice & get a hex head bolt because you need a small wrench to hold the head when tightening. You can't slip a phillip's or slot srew driver in there. No big deal, you get 'er done. ![]()
