Looks great! I know you're getting excited. How long before the new motor arrives?

Hey Jimbo, in the second pic is that the "dead soldier's" Excel cowling? You could take it on the "Antique Roadshow" and see what it's worth!! They are very old and very rare!!

Not only is there a cowling, there is a complete midsection and power head too! Maybe big bucks? Lol!

So Jim, just how much rotted ply (% wise) did you pull out? I imagine you had plenty of moisture.

Well, my transom was mostly Plywood mush. I'd say 85% was "wet", and of that, 50% was really poor and gooey (easy to get out). It was wet, but pretty firm in the corners and edges (hard to get out). It took about 8 hours total to get all the wood out completely.

Do you have an y pictures of how you poured the wings? I’m interested in doing the same job on my scepter.
Thanks

I glassed up the side dams and left a 3” x 1-1/2” slot to put a big funnel in. Then poured Arjay in. Then put expanding foam (great stuff) in the small void area, then CSM fiberglass, then fair and lastly sprayed Gelcoat over that area
