Default Lower unit

It appears that my lower unit is damaged. 2005 Yamaha F150. My choices are 1) Replace with new 2) Replace with a used 3) Have it repaired. Clutch dog and gears that engage drive.

Anybody have experience or advice with this?

If you can get the foot off the engine, replacing the damaged parts isn't very difficult. sometimes those driveshafts can get stuck in the crankshaft. Either way you go about, it if the foot is separate you'll save on labor
