Default 1988 Tracker 18 Fuel Tank Replacement

I’m asking for my brother, Part I. In 2010 he had a replacement 47 gallon tank built, and he installed it himself. Unfortunately I was not available to assist, but checked on him often, and yes, replacing non-ethanol fill and vent hose was a complete frigging nightmare as many here know.

The fuel cell has failed, and he feels that he may have grounded it incorrectly. Only other real possibility. So he has asked me to find a plastic/poly tank that will fit inside original hold. He claims that “Classic SeaCraft” on FaceBook has a member that has installed a 45 gallon Moeller tank that fits. Without calling tank manufacturer, we no longer have the measurements. Original tank was 47 gallons.

Anyone have any information, or hold measurements? Couple of ‘75’s being worked on currently, but not sure if they would be the same. Thanks in Advance.

Vezo, Part II

Thanks Sandy. Hope you’re doing well. What’s the status of the Slacker 18?

I replaced the tank in my ‘87 18cc last year.
These were all my measurements.

Not a problem. Out with the old, in with the new.

Slacker 20 has a new tank and hoses. New wiring.
Same old rude 150.
