Tell ya the truth no one had posted in this section in months got tired of seeing the same thing so I was doing the project and thought I would get the thing moving and see what others thought of my plan . There’s a lot of bigger boats out there with manual jacks that must also be a Pain in the Ass to run up and down. Got to admit I do love building stuff ! Good thing to because I can ever seem to find anything for my boat that would just fit without playing with it in some way!

Well it’s installed and goes up and down. Time will tell how it does. Galvanizing would have been preferred but with store and lube sprayed on the electrical connections and various other locations and the fact that it shouldn’t be getting dunked in salt water it should last a while
