Oh yeah, the only problem I've ever had with the Tohatsu is the O2 sensors get dirty and kills performance. It's very easy to tell when the O2 sensor is messed up, the engine will not stay at a steady RPM. Will vary 300 to 400 rpms on plane and just does not seem to have normal power. I always have a spare, normally a Walker unit versus a genuine Honda, and it's a three minute replacement...in or out of the water. Mine is a 2017.

Yes it's a 17" pitch and it's the largest diameter available and it has a large blade area, it's a Turning Point brand. I think this is the one in the link below I bought with the Honda hub from WM when they had them on sale (of course). More in to steady performance when the boat is loaded and fuel mileage. Not worried about WOT speed. It was actually the one Josh Stoner used in his first 23'er with a 250 Tohatsu and it was his recommendation that I tried it on my SC. Much better than either the 17 or 19 Honda props. Good luck.

What year 23’? 30” shaft length? And do you ever experience blow outs with the engine mounted in the highest position when light load or in rough seas? Thanks again, this type of insight will help me accelerate dialing in. TY!
