I know what you mean but this was just a one-off on recycled scrap teak that was run through a planer to get rid of weathered bit. Pieces were only slightly larger that the part I wanted so had to split down the center and have the glue joint.

Used west system/ 207 hardener, couple coats, and a couple coats of clear awlgrip. Would do more coats if in the weather but emblem will be in cabin. Chairs were done same way but three coats of epoxy and 5-6 coats of clear.

Finally recorded some numbers on performance:
Average of 2 runs with/against current/wind
Suzuki DF300B (duo-prop):

RPM Speed GPH NM/Gal
(knots)
3000 16.0 6.6 2.5
3600 25.1 8.6 3.0
4000 28.4 11.0 2.5
4500 32.5 13.9 2.3
5500 41.0 24.2 1.7
5700 42.5 26.0 1.6

Probably had a little more RPM to squeeze out with trim but thats where I cut it off.
Just a little under what dealer reported during initial trial.

Motor seems to like the 3600/max efficiency speed - loafing.

Curious how this compares to other 300 HP numbers with single prop if anyone can provide those.
