Looks more like mostly 2'-3' with a short wave period and wind chop. Saw only a couple of 5'. Just steep nasty stuff.

Fishing off of Hatteras a few years ago in the 18, we went way further than we should have. Caught a 40 lb yellowfin and a 25-30 lb wahoo, off the ledge. Got a little bit snottier than what's on the video when we decided to head home. Running 3700 rpm, gps said we going 3 knts. That was a looooong ride home. She got us there, though!

Something tells me the video doesn't do the conditions justice. When it gets rough, I'm always glad I have a Seacraft.

Video never shows the true conditions is right. Double whatever it looks like. So, those were 3-5's all day long. They were not going very fast because they couldn't, but still relatively comfortable. And safe.
