Default Re: 23's Front hatch drain holes.....

Briguy thats a cocern, rain water. I'm not aware if when the hatch is closed water will get in. I checked the thru hull fitting and its in there as I installed it with 5200 a couple of months ago and its solid. I decided im going to leave alone. When I throw the cast net for cigar minnows they go everywhere its nice to open the hatch pull the plug and water it down everything goes out thru the hole.NJ Fishman yes its usually used as a fish box, I never liked the idea of draining into the bilge, this idea started because I thought It was leaking water in between the liner there but found out it is not thru that gap. I figured out were its coming from, thanks for the help. RS.
