Thanks Mark I just found a copy of an ad for a 1969 20 cc photo in it is an I.O.looks a lot like mine except for the power ,has wood covers to . however the copy has on address just some specs. If my boat is a 1970 you say its not a potter built boat does this make mine less valuble. looks like most guys like the potters. JOE R

Joe,

There is a lot of discussion on this site and others about the virtues of different periods of SeaCraft production. In my talks with people that have refurbished MANY SeaCrafts through the years, there can be good and bad hulls from ANY year. It is my understanding that the "Potter" years were from 1969/70-1980. If your boat works well for you I really wouldn't worry too much about when it was built. There are some pretty boats owned by people on this site from just about every year of production. I doubt very much that the fish know the difference [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
